The first Lingnan Dongpo Forum "Su Shi and Song Learning" academic seminar was held in Huizhou from December 23rd to 24th. This seminar further promoted the research on Su Shi's academic thoughts and a collection of papers on "Su Shi and Song Learning"was compiledat the first Lingnan Dongpo Humanities Forum, which collected a total of 22 Su Learning research papers from university scholars, experts, and local cultural and historical experts in Huizhou.

Huizhou was an important stop in Su Shi's tumultuous journey of life. The two years and eight months in Huizhou were one of the peak periods of Su Shi's poetry and prose creation, and also an important period of ideological transformation throughout his life. Prior to this meeting, the organizersexplored the charm of Dongpo culture from a visual perspective and delved deeply into its intrinsic value, providing many beneficial insights for inheritance and development.

The attending experts and scholars also visited and inspected Su Shi's historical sites in Huizhou, including the Su Dongpo Temple, Dongpo Memorial Hall, Huizhou West Lake, and Luofu Mountain.
