On December 10, thepress conference was held in Tsinghua University to release its research results on bamboo slips.

The bamboo slips dating back to the Warring States period (B.C.476-221) were acquired by Tsinghua University in 2008. Led by Li Xueqin and Huang Dekuang, the research team has published 13 volumes of reports on bamboo slips , winning extensive attention and high praise from foreign and domestic academic and sinology community for their efficiency on the outstanding outcomes. This year’sreports on Tsinghua Bamboo slipscover fivecompiled documents on the ceremonial dining of the aristocracyas well as music and ideological literature, not recorded in any existent documents, promisingly serving as up-to-date information for the study of the ceremonial system, music and ideologyof pre-Qin period (pre-221 B.C.)

At the press conference, according to the Research and Conservation Center for Unearthed Texts, the compilation of Tsinghua bamboo slips has entered a most critical stage, but the team promise to overcome all the difficulties to ensure the publication of one volume per year so that the deciphered documents can be made public as soon as possible.
